بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
105:1
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the people of the Elephant¹?
105:2
أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍ
Did He not turn their scheme into a total loss²?
105:3
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ
He sent against them swarms of birds,
105:4
تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ
pelting them with stones of baked clay,
105:5
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍۭ
leaving them like chewed-up chaff.
